It turns out that WordPress on Amazon Lightsail has a few kinks that I need to work out. The biggest one is that to update the version of PHP my instance is running on, I basically have to create an all new blank instance, set that one to the newer version of PHP and then migrate the WordPress installation over there. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
In the meantime, enjoy. I know I am.
